My beloved and I were away on vacation when this Super Saturday Transformations Video was played at the event.  Although hundreds of miles away, I heard about it from a number friends, fellow coaches and business owners who reached out to let me know that my story was the lead in to this inspiring video.

Our vacation plans were made in advance, before we knew the date of the event and then we learned that the CEO of our amazing organization would be there too.  We were disappointed that we were not able to make it, but so excited to check in and see the posts and videos that our team and friends were posting about he event.

Yesterday for the first time I got a chance to view it, without the music, the buzz and excitement of thousands gathered together for that amazing event.

I guess it's a good thing I was alone, because with every transformation image came an additional flood of tears.  Grateful, awestruck, humbled, hopeful, thankfull, blessed tears.  I could see the joy and the heart and soul and accomplishments of so many many people who have not only changed thier own lives but who are also helping others to change theirs every day in.

I am incredibly humbled to have been included in this amazing video that was put together by Emily Goodman, the Boston Super Saturday team and all the coaches and customers who shared their transformations to inspire and help others.

Make no mistake there are hundreds and thousands of other stories and images of lives that have been changed by taking that first step, making that one decision that would make the video go on for days no doubt ...............

If you follow me, you have seen my cooking and lifestyle videos, my posts, invitations to join my accountability group so I can help you on your health and fitness journey and my team so I can help and mentor you so you too can make a difference helping others.   In the process, you have read or heard a lot of words.

Can I ask you to take a few minutes to watch this video?

There is no music, at Super Saturday I am sure they had great music play.  And there is not much in the way of words, but I think I may perfer it that way because these images are profound, they are indicative of lives that are changed and these transformations speak for themselves and they speak loudly volumes upon volumes about the individual personal experiences that people have had.

You can see it on their faces, in their eyes, their smiles and in the confident after pictures.  These are miracles, lives changed, families changed, chidlren seeing thier parents in a new healthy way, health crisis's averted, people who are transforming their lives in ways we can only being to image well beyond the physical, peopel who are healthier, stronger, more confident.  Glowing examples of what "one decision" can do and so much more!!.

Years ago I experiened a spiritual retreat that  had a significant impact in my life and I heard this Leonard Ravenhill's quote that has stuck with me  "A man with an experience of God is never at the mercy of a man with an argument".

In a similar context I believe that "A person with an experience is never at the mercy of a person with an argument" my own experience in my journey to good health and a healthier lifestyle is proof and that's why I continue to share what I know works and has changed my life, because I know it can help others.

I'm here and ready to help, reach out!

Bearing with the faults of others

Aside from the Bible my all time favorite is the Imitation of Christ by Thomas A. Kempis and my favorite version of this book that has been reprinted in various versions is the Penguin Classic. I’ve had my copy for well over 20 years and it is highlighted and tabbed and falling apart but it is and always will be my go to!! During Lent I was so excited to pray with the Hallow App and the reason I was so excited was that they were doing reflections on the Imitation of Christ, and it was a blessed Lenten Season with Hallow and that blessing continues for both me and my beloved today as it has become a part of our daily routine. Which I have to say is anything but routine but joyously consistent. Back at the beginning of Lent I ordered a revised translation from Pauline Books, it took a few months but I received the book recently and have been loving it. I enjoy very similar translations to my penguin classic and I am blessed by the reflections and prayers at the end of each section. And

Usefulness of Adversity

Today the reading I turned to was Usefulness in Adversity. For me it reminds me to draw closer to God, to seek His wisdom and guidance and to always remember that it is He who sees my heart.

Avoiding rash judgement

I love starting my day with a random reading from the Imitation of Christ!  Somehow it always seems to be just what I need to hear for that day.  This morning was no different, the reading was on avoiding rash judgement.
