Transformation Tuesday

I am passionate about my journey to live a healthier lifestyle and the mission to help others who want the same. It's not always easy to do and it takes intention, purpose, commitment and effort but it is worth every second to live the life I am living today.

Life is precious and I am not willing to waste a moment of this precious gift we are given and so I have begun to live each day a little bolder. Kind of like the leggins that I am rocking in this picture.

I have a lot to be grateful for. I have lost weight, become stronger and more fit, mind, body, spirit and soul and I have come off all medications for Type 2 Diabetes and High Cholesterol having reversed my diabetes and no longer have high cholesterol. It feels wonderful to know that through diet and exercise I am able to manage my health and to live a healthier lifestyle.

I love to cook and so the changes we have made in our nutrition plan have come easy. Working out, well not so much, I don’t like working out. I never have, and don’t think I ever will. But I push play and I get it done because I like the way it makes me feel.

When I am taking care of my body I feel good in my skin, more confident, fit and stronger and I have so much more energy to do all the things I need to get done in the day. Feeling good impacts every aspect of my life and the life I want to live with my beloved and my family.

I have come so far already, but I have a long way to go. I have learned a lot about myself on this journey. I know that because working out is not my strong suit I enjoy the challenge of a new program and variety. It helps to re-energizes me, gives my body a new routine and it helps me focus. The variety is also helpful when I am having issues with my knees and I need something with a little less impact.

I also know without a doubt that 100% accountability to a program, start to finish does wonders for my mindset and confidence, proves that I am stronger than I think and that I can do it, and best of all gets results.

I am proving that to myself again with this 21 day nutritional cleanse that my bveloved and are doing. We are 15 days into the 21 and I am 15 pounds down with NOT ONE CHEAT!!! Not one!

I have a goal to lose another 50 pounds this year, so I have another 35 to go. My plan, after this round is over next week to head right into anotehr round of hte program that made all the difference for me when I started, the 21 Day Fix.

It was my game changer and so I am starting another round on March 20th. Prep week begins on the 13th for anyone who wants to join me and we will start on March 20th so that we end in time for Easter.

Donig this nutritonal cleanse has been a perfect way to go through Lent and so I am carrying that right on through.

I know that there are people out there just like me and I want YOU to know that if I can do it, YOU can do it too. That's as real as it gets folks!

Are you ready to get off the fence and make that change you have been tallking about so you can head into spring stronger and more fit, with more energy and feeling better than you have felt in awhile?

If you are serious, ready to drop the excuses, willing to commit 100% to a program for 21 days to get and see real results than I want to help YOU!

What’s required:
1. Commit to 21 days
2. Workout roughly 22-45 minutes, 6 to 7 days a week from the comfort of your home
3. Follow nutrition and Eating Plan included with the program
4. Drink Shakeology daily
5. Take photos and measurements on Day 1 and Day 21
6. Track your workouts and Shakeology intake and interact with me as your coach through a private accountability and support group.

I am on a lifelong journey and mission to not only live a healthy lifestyle, reach and crush my own health goals, but to help you if you want to help yourself.

Make no mistake we are not going on a diet. To the contrary, we are going to embark together on a journey with a program and plan that is proven and that we know gets results if we commit 100%, stick with it, drop the excuses and take the daily action that we know will help us make healthy and sustaining lifestyle changes that will serve us well beyond 21 days if we continue to apply all that we learn to make it part of a healthy lifestyle

Think you may be interested, have questions, want more information?

Then we should talk because I need more information about you too, your specific goals, areas you want to work on, your needs and what you are looking to achieve so I can help you get there.

Bearing with the faults of others

Aside from the Bible my all time favorite is the Imitation of Christ by Thomas A. Kempis and my favorite version of this book that has been reprinted in various versions is the Penguin Classic. I’ve had my copy for well over 20 years and it is highlighted and tabbed and falling apart but it is and always will be my go to!! During Lent I was so excited to pray with the Hallow App and the reason I was so excited was that they were doing reflections on the Imitation of Christ, and it was a blessed Lenten Season with Hallow and that blessing continues for both me and my beloved today as it has become a part of our daily routine. Which I have to say is anything but routine but joyously consistent. Back at the beginning of Lent I ordered a revised translation from Pauline Books, it took a few months but I received the book recently and have been loving it. I enjoy very similar translations to my penguin classic and I am blessed by the reflections and prayers at the end of each section. And

Usefulness of Adversity

Today the reading I turned to was Usefulness in Adversity. For me it reminds me to draw closer to God, to seek His wisdom and guidance and to always remember that it is He who sees my heart.

Avoiding rash judgement

I love starting my day with a random reading from the Imitation of Christ!  Somehow it always seems to be just what I need to hear for that day.  This morning was no different, the reading was on avoiding rash judgement.
